Quick Facts: Puerto Rico’s capital is San Juan which was founded in 1508. Puerto Rico has a population of 3.6 million people of which roughly 2 million live in the capitol. The main languages are Spanish and English with 80% of the population speaking the former. The national holiday is November 19th which is the discovery of Puerto Rico Date. .
Did you know: That when Puerto Rican’s want to express there nationality they say “I’m as Puerto Rican as a Coqui” which is a tiny frog found everywhere on the island and is their unofficial national symbol!
